catch-all

Do you have a catch-all area in your house?

Is your whole house a catch-all area?

Maybe I needed to put this as a resolution of mine.  My table and the end tables have become my catch-all areas. 

I'm in need of an intervention I think!  

Maybe by tomorrow the table will be cleaned off so we can eat on it without 

clearing a space first....oye.

I would keep all my overflow catch-all items in my mom's buffet but it doesn't exactly fit nicely upstairs with all this baby stuff....well okay before baby stuff it didn't fit well either....so it's downstairs.

What's your organizational hints/tips/tricks?  

Where do you keep bills that need to be paid?

Extra pens, scotch tape, etc?

Help me out!

reality??

I've just spent the last hour working on things for school (pulling up pages I need to print/copy, making name writing/building activities, etc) to try and stay awake until Chad gets home.  It's 7:30 p.m. my time ladies and gentlemen.  This is not a good sign of things to come.....

I was out the door by 7:15 this a.m. for the back-to-school kick off meeting and Chad threw a roast and some veggies in the crock pot as I was leaving.  He had to stay late at work because of some random internet issue so I've already eaten dinner (the roast was good by the way).  

It's not the fact that I was up early I don't think.  I'm pretty sure the two hours greeting families is the cause of my severe exhaustion this evening.  This can't be good!! I only had to meet and greet for maybe two hours...maybe a little more.  Did it help that my classroom (along with everyone else classroom) was a sweltering temperature? No, probably not.  I did pop down to the office right after my room cleared out to soak up some of the lovely a/c that is in there =)  I even had a diet Pepsi and that did NOTHING for me...except make me want another can!   

I'm pretty sure I might just be snoring in bed by 6 p.m. on Wednesday (first day of school)!!  My body will hopefully get used to this....I've got roughly 6-8 weeks to get through!!

Whirlwind

Lots going on right now in the Hoff house.  Work, school, and play are keeping us both busy.  Along with that dang rusty fork in the road!  

I really want to post the most amazing thing I've crafted yet, but I can't just yet.  boo.  Oh well.  I'm participating in another crafty contest in a few weeks, I can't post that fun stuff either until March 25, boo again.  hrmph. 

Poor Chado.  His back went out on him again today.  Worst one yet I think.  He literally got stuck when we were leaving the bank, like couldn't move stuck {I shouldn't laugh, but it was HILARIOUS and he saw me laughing so I'm not saying this behind his back....so there!}  He goes back to his new chiropractor tomorrow morning, hopefully it'll give him relief.

I'm busy crafting, working, and doing the school thing again.  Lame-o.  I'm ready for my 4 day weekend next week.....I've got lots of sleep and getting caught up on homework planned. Yay, go me. Exciting right?  I'm also going to be getting my crafty contest entries done too...because it's something fun =)

Cubes, paint, and lots of fun!

Oh, you'd be excited to see what I am working on currently!  (can't you just imagine the possibilites once I have my crafty room?!?!)  Our kitchen table, half of it (with both leafs in) is currently being taken up from the project I'm working on.  I can't wait to post some pictures of it!  So, the individual who will be receiving this will be receiving it early, as soon as I'm finished up with it!  I hope the individual enjoys them!  

Oh, and on a side note, I'm super excited about a garage....this means I have THE BEST summer project ever!  I'm going to be refurbishing my mom's dresser =) I am SO excited to FINALLY be able to tackle this project!

Chad's summer project: he's stoked about watering, mowing, putting in a living room light fixture, putting a fan in a bathroom, and hanging out in a basement =)  I'm not sure what else he's got up his sleeve, but I'm sure there will be WAY more to come (all of these are his idea, by the way, I haven't even mentioned a "honey do list" haha).

Can't wait to show you all the excitment going on at the Hoff house.  March 28 can't come soon enough for us!
