Things I'm really just not a huge fan of

Okay, so I don't completly hate plants, but I CANNOT for the life of me keep one alive......

I really do hate paying the bills, it is such a chore somedays......

How I loathe the sock basket when Chad doesn't do his job for weeks....................
that's his only laundry responsibility, the sock and underwear basket.......

Sadie cat!

She reminds me of a cat.....didn't realize we owned a cat......

Monday Monday Monday!

Day two and my legs are BURNING!
Trying to talk Chad into doing it too, but we will see how far this gets me.....

My water intake has been crazy the last few weeks, I think I might have some good buoyancy going on haha.....

This is just a random picture I found. Reminded me of the fun times and good memories from church camp MANY MANY years ago. Not sure why, but I do think there was a bridge that we had to cross during one of our hikes....kristen, brit, right?? haha

It's also a peaceful picture for the day as well =)

Chad had a pretty busy day at work again today, but, he did make it home before 6:30 tonight, so I was VERY impressed! He said it was nonstop!

He brought up the idea of snowmobiling to Sterling, ND (I have no idea where this is) for the day on a groomed trail. We will have to see, I'd LOVE to, but I work on Saturday and the next Saturday we are out of town, and the next Saturday is the big test....so, maybe if I don't work on Sunday, but that'll never happen!

...optimism...optimism......I'm working on that...

Sunday tranquility

How lovely is this picture I found? so peaceful...

I started my 30 day challenge today on EA active....it kicked my butt. I plan to become healthier and quit living such a stressful life. My thoughts for the weekend. I know I cannot rid all the stresses of life away, but really, why sweat the small stuff? so, I'm going to start working out again and make more time for family and friends. Looking into a few things right now, we'll see what happens =)

I hope everyone starts the week off with a goal in mind and persistence. Maybe a little motivation too....

Chads rants and raves

Haven't been up to a whole lot......

Work keeps me pretty busy.......

Softball is coming soon, that's always on my mind........

Other then work, not much has been going on. Made a trip to Glendive in January to be with the fam to remember Grandpa Hoff.....

Chris and his family came up for a few nights about a week or so ago. Britt had to work so she didn't get to spend alot of time with them. Put on some new tires (Toyo!) for Chris and just hung out and relaxed. It was nice to see them again. It was their first trip up to Bismarck since we have lived here so thats cool.

we got to go to a wizards game in January. Work had tickets so we got some! it was good stuff. we sat on the court. We haven't been to many bobcat games this year, hoping to go to a few more before the season is over.

work, work, work, work

Went to Jarod and Heidi's the other night to celebrate his birthday since he was in Cleveland on his big day. Had dinner and dirt cake and played some baseball on the ps2.

Really haven't been up to a whole lot......

Saturday thoughts

Just a few thoughts that have surfaced the last few weeks:

I really can't help but think warm, and relaxing thoughts when looking at this picture. The time will soon come when I can do this for about a week.......

I'd really like to do some hiking/walking paths this summer....wherever we are.....

Updates and rants:

The last two months have really flown by. My time is coming to an end with the 1st graders in Mandan and I am going to miss them dearly. I will be going back in May to do some observations and help out in their classroom again. They have really taught me a lot and I look forward to teaching the primary grades one day.

I will be starting in a Kindergarten classroom on March 3 here in Bismarck. I am excited, nervous, and burnt out. It is hard to teach full time Monday through Friday and then work on Saturday and Sunday all day. I feel that my time has been shortened for family and friends, but its a sacrifice I have to make, right?

March 13 is a huge day for myself. I have registered for my Praxis 2 test (to receive my teacher license). So the next few weeks will be crammed full of study time. I'm sure I will do fine, but I always expect the worst but hope for the best. I can give it my all and hope that is enough to pass it. My first test starts at 7:30 a.m. and the second at 10:45. So far, I'm pretty sure I have no idea if I will pass it or not (especially looking at the material so far!). So, keep me in your prayers that day.

I am almost done with my college career for now. I will be graduating on May 1, and then going back in June (as long as I get accepted into the graduate program) for one week long class and then in July for two 3 week classes.

I have so much going through my head right now it is hard to get my thoughts down, so sorry if this is a little bit of rambling!

We have two weddings this summer (that I know of right now), and a family reunion we are hoping to make. Chad's looking forward to softball and I am looking forward to socializing with all the wives/girlfriends =) Hopefully I will have a more full-time job and will be able to have my nights and weekends back, but, we will have to see how things work out.

No big changes in life coming up soon. I've upgraded to a smarty phone and we both now have North Dakota phone numbers (so if you need our numbers, let me know). Many of our friends are embarking into the world of marriage and parenthood and we couldn't be more happy for them (we will just continue to borrow everyone's children, no sense in having our own when we can borrow right now!!!!!!!) =)

Chad and I will continue to embark on making our lives better, healthier, and fulfilled with happiness in 2010.
