The email I have been longing for.....

I received an email this evening from the student teacher coordinator with news that I have been anticipating to hear for the last three months!

I got placed! (partially)

As of January 4, 2010 I will be reporting to an elementary school in Mandan learning the ropes of and teaching 1st grade.  I will be there until March 2. 

I will have another 8 weeks learning the ropes and teaching Kindergarten after I'm done with 1st grade. 

Just thought I would share that news with all of you.

I will post later about Thanksgiving and the big changes coming later on this week, or next.

    When Shawn was teaching kindergarteners for the first time, he was teaching PE and they left him alone for five minutes, in those five minutes Shawn turned around and one little girl was running around with her dress in her hand, just a streakin' and Shawn couldn't convice her to put it back on!
