Weighing in at 19 pounds 8 ounces and 28.75 inches long is P!
Holy smokes has he grown!!

About a week old-8 months!!

HE:

has mastered the walk behind toys we have....
the floor was too fast for him to keep up with when we first got them!

likes to walk if he can hold onto something........

LOVES chasing Murphy around and playing with him (he plays back and doesn't hide on the furniture).....

stands at the window and holds onto the ledge and looks out or bangs on the window......

enjoys looking at his books.....

is content playing by himself or with someone.....

has been doing really well on his new formula!

has started eating some "table food" items and is doing well with them ..
you know, in the finely shredded, super small form....

likes to nap with mommy.........

has 7 teeth now!

went swimming at home for the first time.....

has started to find his thumb again.....

thinks he is hot stuff because he can stand unsupported now....

took 3 steps on his own, unsupported, and then fell down because he got so excited!

Some things that were loved this month for Parker and Mommy....

Food Pouches-  P likes to feed himself and these are perfect for those of us who just aren't comfortable with solids just yet.  We have been using Gerber Organics, Up and Up, and Plum Organics because those two are the main ones that I have coupons for or go on sale more often.

Aveeno baby lotions- we use the daytime and nighttime of these.  They seem to moisturize P better than the Johnson baby (I think they are the same company though?)

Prunes- Yes. Prunes.  P's new formula stops him up a bit....and let's be honest so don't banana's (poor kid) so prunes daily or every other day has become pretty routine for him!

Boon Caterpillar Snack holder seriously love this thing.  P doesn't know how to open it yet and his fingers won't fit in there to get them out himself, but he loves to shake it!  So, for now it's awesome.  We will transition into snack catcher soon.

Dr. Pepper....no explanation needed.

This kid!  He is so clumsy it's amazing.  He can face plant it in ANY situation.
The other night he pulled himself up using one of the dining room chairs and ended up breaking the skin where he has a tooth cutting..BLOODY mess again.  Goodness.
The gate attacked him the other day too.  He ended up with quite the interesting bruise on his head from it.

He's babbling and finding his voice daily.  He will carry on quiet conversations with me and then go off to play and screech conversations at me.  It's quite funny.
He isn't constantly saying "mamamamama" anymore, which is nice, but I do miss it.  He's slowly finding the other consonants and vowels and it's funny to watch when he spouts out a new one.  He looks a bit confused but then so proud.
We swear he says "Hi Dad" when Chad comes home from work.  It's too cute and we just can't decide if he's really saying it or if it just sounds like it!

 

Jeffrey was a tough sell again this time...
